Instagram Growth
Should you care about Instagram followers?
Yes, and no.
This is another one of those questions, isn’t it?
If you’re in school you want to be Alpha, you want to keep score, good grade,s more followers. I mean, those are the metrics that should keep you genetically superior above others, right ?
No, that’s super lame. This is a rat race.
In this video we will make a focus on individuals that want to grow their Instagram for the purpose of growing up personal brand, growing an audience for finding the right people that are interested in your business.
Let’s look at a study. According to a study from the University of Michigan ,social media sites, like Facebook and Instagram attract people who need an ego boost. The research determined that obsession with social media is becoming less about connecting with others and more about vanity, egocentricity, and self promotion. The research examines participant made of 486 college undergraduates, mostly caucasian females with the medium age of 19. And guess what, they concluded that this was evidence of a narcissist personality. Obviously, it’s only human that we want to be like ****, but checking your followers count every few hours might mean there’s something wrong. Also if you’re a business why, let’s say you get paid a 100 bucks to do 8 hours of labor, 8 hours of working on something. What is your doing the job and checking what the  time is every few minutes or enjoying the process and after a few hours:
Oh, 2 hours past so fast, 6 hours past so fast, oh the whole working day pass.
If you consistently check what time it is, the quality goes down, you become less focused, less efficient just because you’re focused on matrix like how much time passed so far?
If you enjoy the process, time flies. Let’s say if you’re building a personal brand and you need followers and you get only for 1, 5, 20 a day, you might get really discouraged and if you consistently check them and you see that after a few months, you only have 500 followers. This is pretty discouraging you think about it. You let a week, a second week pass then your parents, your friends, girlfriend or boyfriend your brother and sister tell you that it’s a waste of time and guess what- you quit.
Let’s imagine another scenario. Let’s say that in an ideal scenario you forget about followers. You only concentrate on your content, your  click through rate meaning the amount of people clicking
relative to the impressions or the eye balls seeing your  content and improving your content for the little followers you have.
Like we are doing on this channel right now, but on YouTube and on Instagram as well, if  need something to improve let me know in the comment section down below.
So in this scenario you try to deliver the best you can for the small audience you have and get the highest retention rate of your viewers. So one day you wake up and you see a slight increase in analytics on the impression stab, on your insides, on your business page but same goes for YouTube, pretty much for any social media platform. The next week you wake up in the morning check analytics and you see even higher increasing impressions, you see more people directed with your content, get some traction focus on your content see some small things that you need to work on your lighting for your pictures. You see that, if you have a picture of just a landscape, you get less engagement on your post. But if you make a picture telling the story or with you in it, your audience seems to like it. So you work on that. See what’s works, test the water here and there. And in three months you actually get some pm’s about child outdoor brand newor affiliate sales or you get your first sale for a product that you own. Or you are on the Shopify start, you’re building an Instagram page, voila, you’re getting a sale.
If you don’t know how to get a sale with Instagram page and no website, check the video in the cards above and I have a link for it in description down below.
But regardless, in this scenario you enjoy the process and the fact that you were in this  loop of the process helps you work on your content, work on your craft instead of going down the rat race of consistently worrying about followers. What will you choose? Comment down below, worrying for followers  or enjoying the process? I would love to know your opinion. Maybe we can get a healthy discussions.
And if you already fell into the Trap of buying fake followers, and you don’t know the harm, there’s video in the cards above that I would advise you check out it was a pleasure being with you guys for this video.
