To run story ads you just go on Facebook go the right section, click the hour button then Ads manager and you are there or type Facebook.com/Adsmanager. When you click on “ Create a campaign” this is where you end up.
How do you run effective ads ? There are a bunch of options and you can choose and test out different ones for your niche because if too many people are doing the same thing the algorithm will give a higher priority to people with bigger bargains. You can make Instagram ads either for your feed or for your stories and they can be images or videos. If you stick to Instagram guidelines you will have a very successful Instagram ad.
Few of my advices are:
Make sure that your images are bright and sharp. The brighter and the colourful, the better. Good quality images are always more eye-catchy.
Even though Instagram allows us to use a lot of words and emojis and up to 30 hashtags, it is better to stick up to the simple but classy. Make a good hashtag research and choose a nice, simple short caption.
Use your audience’s language. If your audience is mostly americans, use english, if your audience is mostly english, well, use english.
In the past Instagram formats for ads were very limited and only appeared on your feed. Now you can choose from images to story ads.
A video ad can appear to your feed and can be in square or landscape mode. Of course, they can be sounded and will last up to 60 seconds.
Carousel ads include 2 or more than 2 images and you can swipe left or right. This type of Instagram ads are used most commonly because sellers can have multiple of their products shown to their audience.
And last but not least, story ads. They can be images or videos that will appear in your stories section and they have limited length. Images last 5 seconds and videos 15 seconds. These should be 1080 px by 1920 px in order to cover your whole screen.
