Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg said one thing and the whole world e-commerce panic. What did he say? The future of Facebook is private. There’s a couple of things will extract from that sentence and from his speech. But first, let’s see what he said. To bring this vision to life or building messenger and WhatsApp into platforms for all kinds of private interactions and working on making end-to-end encryption the default for both. We’ve redesigned Facebook to make communities as central as friends. We’ve added new ways to buy securely things on Instagram. Augmented and virtual reality also create more personal and intimate experience – so we are bringing WhatsApp to Portal internationally. Which is kind of interesting because many people argued that when you are talking about something on WhatsApp or Telegram or on phone call with your friend you are getting asked about it on Facebook. So it’s worse than a Town Square. It’s like they’re watching you from your webcam. You mean everything you say and present you with ads. So on e-commers, there’s two perspectives of this. The public perspective – what impact did you have to the end user to the everyday household the lonely middle-aged housewife because I’m prettysure that is the average user on Facebook and to e-commerce organic reach and paid ads. First lets talk abouth the middle-age housewife that uses Facebook. She won’t see breaks of organic posts to just see adds least that’s what I understand from that. So how it will affect her ? I’m not sure if your privacy will be more secure but we’re about to find out more information about it within the next few weeks. The e-commerce site is organic reach will shrink meaning that the organic post that you make on Instagram will reach less people.The organic post that you make on Facebook will reach ? You guessed it? Less people. Is this good or bad thing? It’s bad thing for businesses. And I don’t feel that my privacy is more secure by being served at instead of being concerned with organic adds from companies from their organic reach it this doesn’t really make sense to me and I really like the strategy that Zuckerberg has to stay the problem and the criticism that people have admitting it with humor and that way it’s not a valid point of a debate after that pay,who knows , maybe he doesn’t like our privacy because he in his conference. I mean, you know Facebook, who are we to spec talk about privacy ? We had all those issues with it. I mean, it’s funny and since everyone is thinking about those issues when Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg talk about privacy there certainly not valid anymore. How does it affect e-commers when it comes to Instagram ? Some of you guys might know when switching from personal to a business profile on Instagram , your organic reach is lower. Why? Because a person is a person and a business is a business . What is the main purpose of a business? The main purpose of a business is to make money If a businesses main purpose is to make money it means that they have a certain customer acquisition cost that they have in mind and are willing to pay CPA or cost per action or some impression cost. Cost to reach that many people. So when business page to personal page the reach is lower because Facebook, Instagram , whatever expects you to pay for ads to reach the right people. It’s worth of it for you because you’re making money but many pages and I mean,pretty much everyone does it, even travel pages and everyone else because get thow inside tubes that are so valuable. So its’s a fair trade , some would say basically if they’ll pay for it why give it for free ? So on the e-commerce site everyone’s worried about what will happen to their Facebook t, to the Facebook followers they have, Instagram followers they have, even I’m wondering about that. I’ve spent all this time invested in artwork or in content and now my post will reach less people a smart solution to this case is owning your audience. Owning my own audience ? Yeah, email list, have a free product. Like, ever wondered why YouTubers or influencers ig you free PDFs about check lists, good practices and whatnot. And all they desire for you to give up is your email. When they haveyour emailthey will keep sending you emails with their offers with their videos. They have your contact info outside of the platform, that they use to connect with you that’s way even if this platform shuts down, I mean, this is a real problem. It happened in the last few months for a few hours from Facebook and Instagram. They shut down. They can reach you. Even if there Instagram is bad , down under, even the Facebook goes down even if YouTube goes down (and I’m really hoping that doesn’t really happen. )
